Molly Annelle is a singer, songwriter, and soul cowgirl from the west coast of Canada. Since the age of 5, Molly knew her home was on stage or behind the piano penning songs and poems that would make grown up dinner guests cry.
Molly Annelle's sophomore album Junebug may read like a children's book, but it is a coming of age for Molly who has been playing and writing music since the age of five, winner of the Young Composer of the Year at just, and signed to 604 Records at 17.
Junebug sees Molly tackling the troubles of navigating heartbreak, and finding peace. Molly takes the listener through the healing powers of nature, family, and self reflection, with splashes of country, pop, and soul. Produced by Max Cunningham and Parker Bossley (Hot Hot Heat, Gay Nineties), Junebug firmly establishes Molly as a woman in her 20s, grounded in nature, love, and cowboys.
